Almonds – 1/2 cup
Brown or white rice flour – 1 1/2 cups
Baking powder – 4 tablespoons
Poppy seeds – 3 tablespoons
Salt – A pinch
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
Flax seeds – 1 large tablespoon (as a replacement for egg)
Water – 3 tablespoons
Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
Grease one 8 x 4 inch bread loaf pan.
Mix 1/2 cup of almonds with 1/2 cup of rice flour and grind them finely in a blender. Thus the almond meal will be created. The existence of flour prevents the oil from the almonds being added to the bread.
Combine the left over flour, baking powder, poppy seeds (2 tablespoons) and salt in the almond meal and combine perfectly.
